The duties of the Intern will involve aiding a Welder in carrying out various skilled trade tasks related to repairing parts and welding structural components of bridges, as well as fixing frames on equipment, hitches, and plows. Additionally, the Intern will be responsible for creating repair and body parts for various applications.
Equipment used under direct or close supervision include arc welder, mig welder, acetylene torches, hand grinder, cut off saw and band saw.
