The District Sales Manager is responsible for supporting the growth of METTLER TOLEDO Rainin products and services to customers within the assigned district. The position is responsible for the leadership and supervision of an assigned team of sales representatives. This position may have a Supervisor reporting to them with direct responsibility for a portion of the team. The primary responsibility is to drive strategic sales penetration within the district, defining account strategy and tactical execution for the team, and continually positioning Rainin for continued growth.
The District Sales Manager will provide leadership, coaching and developmental feedback to direct reports for both individual and corporate development. This individual will manage the team's KPI performance and maintain established planning and reporting systems. The District Sales Manager will be responsible for driving continuous process improvements with a strong emphasis on consultative and needs fulfillment selling techniques to achieve sales goals. This individual will act as a role model and leader and must solve problems, make informed decisions and manage the workforce and time wisely in order to maximize results.
This position reports to the Area Business Manager and will collaborate to ensure top line sales growth across all key products and services. The individual will also partner with Service Sales and Service Operations peers to support and grow service business within the assigned district.
Successful Candidates will have extensive account level knowledge and account management experience in the Life Science Research Market.
Geographic responsibilities are in the Northeast United States. The candidate should live in the Greater Boston Area.
