Job Description

Summary:

The Director, Global Service Growth is responsible for developing a comprehensive strategy to grow the Global Service business of Accuray. This includes developing and executing, the strategy and actions to drive the existing service business in addition to developing a holistic view of all value-added services Accuray can offer customers in the Radiation Oncology marketplace. The person in this critical role will establish marketing goals to drive growth, ensure share of market and profitability of product upgrades and services, and will develop and manage services marketing budgets. This role will also strategically evaluate the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*Examine and analyze the market conditions, competitor activities, customer input and commercial feedback to refine service product strategy, marketing plans, and programs for service world-wide.

*Develop and execute a strategy to drive core service growth in current offerings with direct and indirect markets, driving price accretion, market penetration and growth.

*Develop and execute a strategy to drive new service growth in value-added services for the Radiation Oncology market.

*Collaborate with Regional Marketing and Service Teams to develop and implement service offerings, pricing, branding and sales tools. This role is responsible for ensuring the commercial success of the service business.

*Ultimate measure of success will be to consistently drive revenue growth above IB growth.

Qualifications:

Required:

*Bachelors Degree and, ideally, an MBA or related professional experience.

*At least 8 - 12 years of previous experience in Marketing or Sales Leadership roles focused on Service.

*Previous capital equipment, medical device service/service marketing experience.

* Broad marketing and commercial experience that includes a strong combination of strategy, competitive analysis, market research, pricing, services legal agreements, and an understanding of service workflow and organizational structure.

*Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to develop positive business relationships with all functional areas within Accuray as well as the medical community and Accuray customers.

*Experience with Voice of the Customer qualitative and quantitative market research techniques and translating to insights into action.

*Successful track record demonstrating the ability to work within a highly matrixed organization to lead and influence global change; multicultural experience to enable effective working across geographically dispersed teams.

*Ability to effectively communicate deadlines, updates, issues and accomplishments, concisely, clearly and in ways that motivate others and build team spirit.

*Results-focused with a track record of consistent achievement.

*Flexibility to work early and late hours to collaborate with global team members.

*Some travel required.

Preferred:

*Work experience and/or technical understanding of Radiation Therapy.

*Advanced financial skills, including an understanding of service P&L accounting.

*Ability to lead and manage a cross-functional team and work collaboratively with people across functions, regions and cultures.

Accuray pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Accuray Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
