Global Transportation company is looking for well-qualified Warehouse Technicians to perform warehouse duties including (but not limited to): receiving, stock picking, packing, shipping and light assembly work. In this role, you will: · Meet job requirements relative to Safety, Productivity, Quality, Attendance, Flexibility, and team environment · Packing of small and large parts, loading and unloading trucks, order picking, parts counting, wrapping products, export packing, crating, labeling, shipping and receiving, stock-keeping, cycle-counting, housekeeping · Utilize ORACLE and various WMS applications. Utilize various PC applications in including RF picking. · Read and interpret pick tickets, packing instructions, safety alerts, drawings, or other communications as needed · Read and interpret drawings and instructions for light assembly work · Operate various forklift trucks, and other equipment as needed Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: · High-school diploma or GED · Minimum of 1 year prior warehousing experience · Manual dexterity for using hand tools to perform essential functions · Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull; be able to lift up to 40 lbs · Ability to read and interpret operating procedures, quality and safety documents, or other information critical to job performance · Be 18 years or older · Be willing to take a drug test & submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process · Possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States Preferred: · Knowledge of Safety procedures and practices · Ability to work a flexible schedule with overtime as needed · Prior experience in a GE Distribution facility · Forklift Certification · Able to learn new skills or equipment · Prior PC experience, with ORACLE · Strong communication skills · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the customer in mind · Demonstrates strong leadership skills
