Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms while the regular teacher is absent. Review and implement the regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives. Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment. Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to the school administration.

Identifies, monitors, and manages students with chronic disease and disabilities. Documents services provided in accordance with orders and care plan. Provides emergency crisis nursing care for physically and/or psychologically ill and injured students and staff in the school. Maintains communicable disease prevention and control through education, policy and enforcement.
